Young Farmers Academy

Young Farmers Academy is back...

The 2 hour 'hands on' sessions for 7-12 year olds will kick off in the half term holiday: 9.30 - 11.30am on Thursday 23rd February with a special holiday session 'Introduction to Lambing' ! Help us prepare for one of the busiest times in the farming calendar as we welcome all kinds of baby animals and of course, spring lambs.

The sessions include a different agricultural theme each week from animal husbandry through to learning about the arable and dairy side of our working farm. Children get the opportunity to take part in a number of specialised activities as they go 'behind the scenes' with our dedicated Academy guides.

Spring Opening 15th Feb and our 30th Birthday Year!

2017 will be a year to remember here at Stockley Farm Park - We are looking forward to lots of new arrivals and have lots of fun-filled activities for you to take part in!

And of course that we are now 30 YEARS OLD!!!

We re-open for our new season 15th - 26th February (half term) 10am-4pm and will be open every weekend after.

If it's starting to get colder, the Play Barn is a great place to run off steam before heading for the Willow Barn Tearoom to enjoy our tasty home made food - Why not treat yourselves to lunch or afternoon tea?

Stocktots - Spring Term 2017

Our Spring Term will start on Tuesday 17th January and run until the 28th March 2017 (10 weeks with a half term break on 21st February).

Tickets are bookable online and are onsale now!

Entertain your little one and introduce your budding young farmer to a range of different experiences! Catch the Stocktots tractor for farm fun, singing, arts and crafts and much more! The ever popular 2 hour sessions include;

• Learn about the world around us with a different
farm/nature based topic each week
• Craft activity to take home
• Burn off steam at playtime
• Refreshments for the children (and adults!)

Suitable for children aged 12 months (walking) to 4 years.

We are now taking bookings for our 2017 Educational Visits, with fantastic learning opportunities and special programmes designed for colleges, schools and play groups.

Bring your class to Stockley to enjoy fun interactive learning on our organic farm. Learn all about harvest time on the farm, discover all about hibernation, or join in with our Christamas extravaganza! We have everything from pony grooming, meeting and learning about a wide range of animals, to our fascinating nature trail walk, milking parlour tour and hands-on polytunnel experience. With our large Play Barn and outdoor play areas we have everything here to make your visit a memorable one.
