Here at Stockley Farm Park we offer schools and teaching establishments a unique learning experience.  Our exceptional facilities and resources enable us to deliver and design educational visits that are especially tailored to meet curriculum specifications from Foundation Stage to A-level. We would like to offer you the following packages, based on many years of experience, which make learning interactive and exciting with a real "hands on" approach.

Children will experience a day full of fun activities during their visit to the farm, some of which include:

  • Meeting and feeding the animals
  • Bottle feeding the baby goats
  • Jumping on the tractor and trailer for a ride
  • Strolling through our nature trail to look for seasonal changes
  • Helping to groom the ponies
  • Seeing the birds of prey
  • Meeting our small animals in Pets’ corner
  • Taking a tour of our milking parlour
  • Visiting our polytunnel and looking at what we grow in there

We specialise in providing tailor-made, curriculum based visits and are happy to help you select appropriate activities according to your pupils’ needs.  Our activities cover many of the attainment targets in SC2 - Life Processes and Living Things, and the EYFS early learning goals within Understanding the World, alongside many cross-curricular learning opportunities.  Let us know what topics you would like to cover and we will work with you to create your perfect school trip.

So hands-on and very well organized.  Friendly staff, great atmosphere and fantastic place.  Children/staff/parents really enjoyed their day.
W.Moorhouse, Moston Fields Primary
From a school point of view we really couldn’t have asked for more in terms of content/organization/enjoyment or learning.
H. O’Neil, St Bertelines C of E Primary School

Stockley Farm Park is a mixed organic dairy and arable farm, which incorporates a pay-to-enter visitor attraction. The diversity of our business provides opportunities for GCSE and 'A' level studies in the following subjects: Geography, Leisure and Tourism, Business Studies and Science based subjects.

Students will be encouraged to adopt a ‘hands-on’ approach to our interactive activities, which include the opportunity to:

  • Explore the open farm and meet our animals
  • Meet our dairy cows and take a tour of the milking parlour
  • Enjoy a tractor and trailer ride out to our fields to learn all about our arable crops and land management

During your day we can cover a variety of topics including diversification, animal husbandry, food production, organic vs conventional farming, selective breeding and land management;  We are happy to adapt your day specifically to a subject/topic area of your choice and will work with you to create a tailored itinerary.

Another fantastic day on the subject of 'Organic Farming', thoroughly enjoyed by both staff and pupils alike. The day was extremely well prepared with excellent resources and hand-outs. The day was split into short sessions broken up by fun yet educational activities, where the students enjoyed being hands on with feeding the animals.

Stockley Farm Park provides the perfect hands-on sensory experience for children and young adults with additional needs.  We have a wealth of experience working with children and adults who have a range of needs and are happy to help you tailor trip accordingly.  We have a very flexible approach and can adapt your day on an ad-hoc basis, whilst still ensuring that your pupils explore all the farm has to offer.

I came with my class of students with Sensory Impairments and Complex Needs to visit your farm and I just wanted to let you know what a fantastic day we all had.  It was so well organised and our leader was superb, she was brilliant with my pupils and understood their need for it to be sensory and hands on and as a result they all had great experience with the animals.
R.Lewis, The Russett School
